SnowRouteHQ is run by David Kubert in Northville, Michigan. This page says what the software keeps, and what it does not.

Cookies

The app uses a sign-in cookie so the roster stays on your account. It does not use advertising cookies or analytics cookies. There is nothing extra to opt out of. If you do not want the sign-in cookie, do not create an account.

  • Sign-in. Keeps you logged in. The browser hides it from page scripts. It stays until you sign out.
  • Session cache. A short cookie, about five minutes, so every tap does not ask the database who you are.
  • Sign-in extras. The sign-in system may also store an account link and a remember-me flag. Same purpose. Same lifetime.

On this device, not as a cookie: your dark, night, or light choice, and whether you closed the iPhone install hint. The roster itself is saved to your account, not in a tracking cookie.

Pages also load a small script from grok.com, the platform the app is built with. grok.com may set its own cookies when that script loads, such as Cloudflare’s bot-protection cookie (__cf_bm, about 30 minutes). SnowRouteHQ does not set or read those.

When a card is saved, or a homeowner opens a pay link, Stripe may set cookies on Stripe’s own pages. SnowRouteHQ does not read those. See Stripe’s privacy policy.

Your account

When you create an operator account we store your name, email, and password. The password is stored hashed. Sign-in is how the roster stays tied to you and not to the phone. After you start your plan we send one welcome email with a short feedback form. Your answers to that form are optional and only the SnowRouteHQ team reads them.

The roster and the night

You put in customer names, addresses, phones, prices, routes, notes, and reminders. The app also stores storm runs: start and finish times, checklist marks, before and after photos, and the GPS stamp taken when a photo is shot. That record is yours. Other operators cannot see it.

Cards

SnowRouteHQ does not store a full card number. Saving a card opens Stripe’s page. Stripe keeps the card. We keep the brand, last four digits, and Stripe’s id so the charge can run the next day at the time you set. If there is no saved card, the customer gets an invoice at that same time. A last-four you typed in earlier is only a note and is not charged.

Homeowners

Your customers do not get a SnowRouteHQ login. If you send a pay link, they see that invoice on Stripe’s page. They do not see your route or anyone else’s house. The cookie notice is not shown on a pay link.

What we do not do

We do not sell the roster. We do not use it to advertise to your customers. Weather on the dashboard is looked up for the route. It is not a profile of the people on it.

The terms for using the software are on the Terms page.
